My buddy in my fire team died on the 25th. He was PFC Norman Roger Surprenant "Supernut" from Plainfield Connecticut and was a Great Marine and recieved the Bronze Star posthumously. I've visited his family and keep in touch with his Brother at least once or twice a year and have flown there a few times too see his family.
I'm requesting his name be added the list in the memorial section. I'm the last one that was with Norm before he got away from me as he been hit with mortars and they then threw in a chicom injuring us both and then he got away from me, suffering facial and shrapnel damage to his chest area.
His family was told Norm died on ship. On the "Wall" Norm is panel 31W line 60. Norm was 2/4 H&S Co 106 Platoon
